How to clean your face correctly with the right devices?
Facial maintenance sounds easy - you wash, put on another mask, wait for it to take effect and apply extra care if necessary.
These seem like simple steps, but would you believe that most of us do it wrong?
Caring for our skin begins with well-chosen cosmetics, but does not end with it. Our skin is regularly renewed and gets rid of old cells. They, along with dust and makeup residue, mix with sebum and can lead to clogged pores and inflammation.
The natural renewal of such skin is hindered, it loses its healthy appearance and looks tired. It often forms comedones (blackheads and white pimples) and papules (bumps without a visible white tip). That is why the devices for professional skin cleansing at home an important place in the overall care of the face.
Today we can buy specialized cleaning products from stores and take care of our face ourselves, without the help of beauticians.
Modern devices are now compact, convenient and affordable.
How to choose a facial cleanser?
1. Think about your skin type
The main criterion when choosing such devices, as well as when choosing cosmetics, is the type of skin:
• Normal skin - clean, without large pores, blemishes and other specific problems. Routine cleanser and nourishing cream are sufficient.
• Sensitive skin - often with a feeling of tightness, flaking and prone to redness. Requires very gentle care: it is contraindicated to rub or massage vigorously.
• Dry skin - thin, dehydrated, wrinkles appear earlier. The sebaceous glands do not secrete enough sebum and the skin can quickly become inflamed or crack in the cold.
• Oily skin - produces excess sebum. Because of it, the face acquires a cloudy color, enlarged pores, blackheads and acne - you need to clean more often than others and use products that dry the skin.
• Combination skin is usually oily in the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) and dry on the cheeks, so it should be treated as two different skin types.
2. Set a goal
- Simple facial cleansing;
- Elimination of the problem with comedones;
- Fighting acne;
- Smoothing wrinkles;
- Evening out the complexion.
3. Types of facial cleansing appliances
The most common are - electric brushes, vacuum devices, ultrasound and combined devices.
Electric face brushes
Electric brushes do an excellent job of cleansing the face at home: for normal to dry skin it is enough to use the brush 1-2 times a day. For oily skin - 2-3 times a day for quick recovery of the sebaceous glands. If you use a brush to wash in the morning and evening, a cumulative effect appears - gradually the complexion is evened out and the pores are cleared. Thanks to the gentle massage, the blood circulation is restored, the nasolabial folds and the fine wrinkles around the eyes are smoothed.
Ultrasonic devices
The ultrasonic waves passing through the upper layers of the skin, in addition to the standard cleansing functions, move the lymph fluid and massage the face. In this way, they stimulate collagen production and the ability of internal tissues to regenerate faster.
The result is usually noticed after a course of 5-10 procedures. During this time, the production of sebaceous glands normalizes, the traces of acne disappear and the scars are smoothed. Adult skin is tightened, puffiness is removed, wrinkles are smoothed.
In addition to exfoliation, the ultrasound device helps moisturizing masks and nourishing creams to be better absorbed into the skin after the procedure. If your skin looks tired, ultrasound is a sure way to nourish it with useful serums and restore its healthy glow.
Vacuum cleaning devices, microdermabrasion
Vacuum cleaners work by creating a vacuum between the nozzle in the form of a tube and the skin, which removes fat deposits from clogged pores, comedones and blackheads.
The procedure is effective if used regularly, and the effect is noticeable after the first procedure. The main thing is to follow the recommendations in the instructions for use of the device. Vacuum cleaning should not take more than 15-20 minutes.
Vacuum cleaning is the most effective way to fight acne, blackheads and clogged pores.
Microdermabrasion is a gentle and painless way to get rid of dead skin cells and stimulate its regeneration.
It achieves exfoliation of epidermal cells and polishing of facial skin. Also, maybe you want to prevent the first wrinkles or get rid of the ones that have already appeared? Then microdermabrasion is for you! It smoothes fine wrinkles, reduces age-related hyperpigmentation and most importantly - stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin, thus giving the skin a new impetus.
Combined devices
They offer different functions at the same time, which complement each other for a more complete care. For example, there are appliances that include several modes of operation: cleaning, smoothing fine lines and nourishing the skin through better absorption of cosmetics.
And never forget that beautiful, healthy and well-groomed skin is more important than expensive makeup! If you help your skin to renew itself, it will reward you with radiance and freshness.
